- Successfully exited to IBM in 2023
He’s joined by two renowned academic experts:
- Dr. Niloufar Salehi (UC Berkeley)
- Dr. Afshin Nikzad (Stanford)
Both professors have conducted groundbreaking research on improving AI systems in high-stakes environments.

“Our system shows up where users already work - in Slack, Teams, etc. - providing just-in-time assistance without disrupting workflows,” Mih explains.

“We don’t expose data to external models for training,” Mih emphasizes. “Security and compliance are foundational to our platform.”
Funding and Future Plans
Currently refining its product with design partners, Across AI has secured:
- $5.75 million in seed funding
- Backing from prominent investors including:
- Cota Capital (Bobby Yazdani)
- Village Global (supported by Gates, Zuckerberg, Bezos, Hoffman)
The company plans a commercial launch in 2025, building on Mih’s expertise in helping enterprises navigate complex data ecosystems.
