Founding Story: From Frustration to Innovation
The multinational team (developers Shaw Chian and Venkatraman Dhamodaran, business developer Tudor Coman, and finance/UX specialist Florian Cornu) met at Singapore’s Startup Weekend in April 2012. Their prototype, though not a competition winner, showed enough promise to pursue full-time.
Cornu’s personal travel planning frustrations inspired the concept: “I spent nights cross-referencing airline sites, comparators, and travel guides. There had to be a better way to visualize affordable getaways.”
