Meta is rolling out a beta feature for Threads that allows users to automatically follow the same creators they currently engage with on X (formerly Twitter). This strategic move aims to simplify platform transitions for both creators and their audiences.
How the New Feature Works
- Users receive an in-app prompt titled “Find popular creators from X”
- The system guides users through downloading their X following list
- Threads then imports and matches these follows to corresponding creator profiles
Meta spokesperson Alec Booker confirmed: “We’re testing a way to help users discover and follow creators from other platforms on Threads, streamlining connections to meaningful conversations.”
