Recently, Apple was in the news for mistakenly sending developers emails with app install and ad spend details of other apps. However, the tech giant has now come out with an official statement claiming that a processing error led to this issue. In the future, they plan on alerting developers only through email, but they will have to log into their accounts to view any actual numbers or additional information.

Louis D’hauwe, one of the developers who was affected by the incident, shared an apology note from Apple via Twitter. The company has assured that in order to prevent such incidents in the future, developers need only sign into their accounts to access their dashboards with updated data.

This mishap highlights a concern regarding security for developers around ad services provided by Apple. It is essential for the tech giant to address this issue and ensure that they are providing high-quality protection and security for developers using these services.
