Backed by Bill Gates’ Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Boston Metal has raised $50 million in its latest funding round (targeting $60 million total), according to an SEC filing. This investment will scale its revolutionary molten oxide electrolysis (MOE) technology, which aims to produce emissions-free steel.
