Critical Security Flaw in Phone Monitoring Apps
A newly discovered vulnerability in two prominent phone-monitoring apps—Cocospy and Spyic—has exposed the personal data of millions of users. These apps, classified as stalkerware, share nearly identical source code and are designed to operate covertly on victims’ devices.
What Data Is Exposed?

- Perpetrator emails: Addresses of individuals who installed the apps

- Over 2.65 million unique email addresses were scraped from both services
