Known for their work on the Burnout racing series, Criterion Games is collaborating on vehicle combat mechanics for Battlefront II. The announcement came during EA’s showcase at Star Wars Celebration, where the publisher revealed key details about the upcoming shooter from DICE.
Alex Mole, Criterion’s Technical Director, hinted at an exciting addition to the game, tweeting:
“Working on something awesome for Battlefront II.”
Since EA has already confirmed Criterion’s involvement in land and air vehicle combat, speculation suggests this tease could point to new VR content—potentially expanding beyond PlayStation VR to include PC VR platforms.
