“We regularly see patients for whom no antibiotic works - and they die,” says Dr. Abdul Ghafur, infectious disease consultant at Apollo Hospital, Chennai.

The Lancet Infectious Diseases study examined eight intravenous drugs against CRGN bacteria. Key issues identified:
