History is being made aboard the International Space Station (ISS) as a groundbreaking 360-degree VR camera prepares to capture the first-ever immersive footage of a spacewalk. the custom 3D camera system features:

Engineering for Extreme Environments
The Z-Cam V1 Pro camera has been specially modified to withstand space’s brutal conditions:

The camera will be mounted on Nanoracks’ Kaber MicroSatellite deployer and maneuvered using:
- ISS’s Canadarm2 robotic arm (acting as a “space crane”)
- Precision control from inside the station
This setup will capture unprecedented footage of astronauts conducting a spacewalk, offering Earth-bound audiences an immersive experience unlike anything previously available.
The “Space Explorers” VR Series
The captured footage will become part of “Space Explorers: The ISS Series,” with the spacewalk episode serving as the dramatic finale. The first two episodes are currently available on the Oculus Store for compatible VR headsets.
