“Different industries using identical technologies may have vastly different monitoring needs,” Link explains. “A manufacturing firm and healthcare provider using the same tool would require completely different monitoring approaches.”

Early adopter Hughes Satellite has already demonstrated the platform’s potential by developing custom PowerPacks tailored to their proprietary equipment. This showcases how organizations can create highly specialized monitoring solutions.

The platform offers:
- Access to built-in services (analytics, reporting, notifications)
- Flexible distribution options (free sharing, paid licensing, or freemium models)

Launching with Extensive Support
The App Store debuts with 1,500-1,800 pre-built packages covering diverse technologies including:
- IBM mainframes
- DEC Alpha systems
- Unix and Solaris environments
- New Relic integrations
“Our goal is to foster a vibrant developer community,” says Link. “While some will share solutions freely, others may commercialize their expertise through system integrators or custom enterprise packages.”
