The sisters channeled their expertise into creating Thoras, a Washington, D.C.-based startup that leverages artificial intelligence to:

Since emerging from stealth in January 2024, Thoras has demonstrated impressive momentum:
- Raised $1.5 million pre-seed funding in March 2024
- Achieved 360% revenue growth in nine months
- Secured $5 million seed round led by Wellington Management
Current investors include SineWave Ventures, Focal Ventures, and Storytime Capital. The funding will support:
- Engineering team expansion
- Product development
- Scaling to meet growing customer demand
“This funding round was significantly smoother,” Nilo observed. “We’ve proven our product-market fit and have clear metrics showing our path forward.”
While initially focused on Kubernetes environments, Thoras plans to expand its capabilities to other cloud software platforms.
