How Vay’s Teleoperated Service Works
Vay’s unique approach combines autonomous technology with human oversight:
- Customers hail a vehicle via the Vay app
- A teleoperator remotely drives the empty car to the pickup location
- Users take manual control upon arrival
- After reaching their destination, teleoperators guide the vehicle back
The service currently uses retrofitted Kia e-Niro electric vehicles, offering an eco-friendly transportation alternative.
