These self-assembling bots work by folding programmable DNA into origami shapes and deploying them like miniature machines designed for action. The study shows how intravenously injected DNA nanorobots deliver thrombin specifically to tumor-associated blood vessels, inducing intravascular thrombosis which leads to tumor necrosis and inhibition of tumor growth.
